  • Padrón peppers (Pimiento de Padrón) – Grown in Somerset, roasted, not spicy, you may have ordered this at a Spanish tapas bar
  • Coconut – Whole coconut bought in Somerset, cracked open, flesh diced, coconut water drained and used for the sauce
  • Lime – Fresh limes bought in Somerset, peeled and blended

    The name comes from the its addictive nature!

    What Narco goes best with:

  • As a salsa verde twist on grilled fish
  • As a chimmichurri on steak
  • Inside tacos instead of guacamole
  • Inside chicken burgers
  • Anything Mexican or South American
  • Also works well with chips or as any dip

    This sauce has an initial scent of onion, white wine vinegar and padron peppers ( which have a similar smell to a jalapeño).
    Creamy white in colour with lots of visible fine shreds. Narco has a grainy texture and mouthfeel from the coconut. It’s a very thick sauce, what I’d call a ‘bottle bottom slapper’.
    Your first taste is of white wine vinegar, lime, and garlic with a gentle coconut finish on the palate. The heat level is low/medium with a 5 minute mouth burn. But you would want a scorching heat to drown out the flavours. Another great artisan small batch hot sauce.

    Great tasting sauce. Lovely lime and coconut vibes and not too spicy.

    My personal favourite with its hint of Thai flavours and coconut touch. Would highly recommend Somerset Chilli and will definitely be using again.
